What many do not realize is that when you die you are more alive than you’ve ever been and you always have the choice to stay where you are or go through the light. Many go straight through the light but there are those who choose to stay here on the astral plane. The astral plane is the closest dimension to our earth and that is why so many of us can feel when spirit is around. They literally are still here on earth with us but in another dimension.

Here are some questions they are asked frequently:
1. Can spirit harm us (The Living)?
Spirit can not harm us and most of the time that is not their intention at all. But spirit on the astral plane does need energy from the living in order to thrive. What we mean exactly, is that spirit has to take/steal our energy, but the energy spirits need is the high frequency energy we create when we are fighting or angry. This type of energy is very good and useful to spirits on the astral plane. They can use it better than the loving energy we also give off from our auras. When spirit takes too much of this energy we become dangerously depleted and can feel depressed, anxiety, constant sadness, lethargic, tired and no energy to do things we normally love. Also personality changes can happen suddenly and for no logical reason. Many times the spirit will take from one person in the home only. Causing this person to have some or all of these symptoms with no medical reasons. When people call us and they think they have spirit usually they are correct. We all have the ability to sense spirit because we are all intuitive and can easily tap into our sixth sense when needed or forced to.
2. What about spirits that have gone through the light. Can Betty contact them and can they be as harmful to us also?
Spirit that has gone through the light is exactly where they belong and as I call it are safe. They have made the choice to go and not stay on the astral plane. Unfortunately Betty’s gift is only for those spirits on the astral plane. She is unable to contact loved ones that are with our creator. Her purpose is to help guide those who are lost, confused or frightened about what the light is there for. These people or spirits that have crossed over to the other side can not and would not ever bring harm to us . Those who are on the other side are so happy and are totally engulfed in complete utter harmony. They will visit us and send us love but they are too busy doing their spiritual work on the other side to stay permanently with us. Anyways we have so many people & beings that help us in the spirit world as in our guides, teachers, and family from past and present lives and angels that we truly are protected. But to answer the question they don’t need a source of energy to exist, as for the astral plane they do need to take that energy , we’ll say, to feel good.
3. What is the astral plane like?
The astral plane is a gloomy dark place that I have seen for myself and I have choosen not to go there very often. When I have had to go the one thing that stood out in my mind was tunnel vision. When I was there I had tunnel vision. Why? I have no idea. I can only tell you what I saw. If I knew what was waiting for me on the other side there is no way I would want to stay on the astral plane. I have seen many different creatures and beings on the astral plane also. It reminds me of a dumping ground for spirits, that’s the way I would describe it. So when you die just remember to find the light and use it.
4. How long do you have the light with you after you die?
My guide says that you will have the light with you for about 2-3 weeks and then it goes away. A lot of times I have to tell spirit to go to a hospital or funeral home to find someone else’s light that has just died. They can use it to go home through the light. Many spirits tell me it just went away and that is why they stayed.
5. What are dark entities?
They are souls that have turn away from God! Yes there are other things out there that are dark and creature like. Darks don’t have powers like people think. They are quite weak in nature unless an individual gives them the energy they need to create havoc for other. I have unfortunately worked many times with these creatures and even though they have frightened me because of their appearance, they do not frighten me with their empty threats to do bodily harm to me. If they truly had the powers they claim to have, they would have gotten to me by now. They would have tried to stop me from taking their workers that they collect to do their dirty work for them. Never once has one of them been able to do what they say they are going to do to me. I stopped living in fear in my early 20’s when it dawned on me that if they could really do what they keep saying their going to do, wouldn’t they have killed me by now or made me pay dearly for taking their workers and crossing them through the light. I think so …So that is how I cope with their threats. If you think you have a dark entity most of the time it isn’t, it is just that the spirit has invaded your home and you are in a battle with him/her for the space. It doesn’t make them very nice maybe but not a dark entity. So try to not jump to conclusions too fast.
6. Should I get my house blessed?
Not until you have gotten the spirit to cross over. Betty can explain why this is a wise choice when she talks to you.....
7. What is a spirit guide?
A spirit guide is a soul that you have an agreement with to help you fulfill your life’s contract. You came here to learn and they will help us get to where we want to be at the end of this journey. They will stay with us until the day we die. We also have more than just one. Look at them as our best friends but one misconception is that they are family members. This is just not true. They are never family members but they can be someone we lived a past life with even though that is very rare also. I can see spirit guides and have had many conversations with them. Some are very highly evolved and others have no spiritual knowledge. It all depends on who they are a guide for. For example my guide has a lot of knowledge about other dimensions but I have asked other peoples guides and they tell me straight forwardly “I do not know the answer to that” and maybe it’s because they very simply do not need to know…………..Our spirit guides are a good match for us for what we need to accomplish on this earth. We all want to be successful doing what our intentions are on this earth.
8. Why do spirits not cross over?
Spirit does not cross over for many reasons and here are just a few. They choose to stay because it is too hard to leave our families, property, material possessions, money, curiosity, scared of the unknown, religion and confusion of what is happening. Imagine believing things are one way and then finding out it’s a whole new ball game out there. I always tell people that when it’s your time always remember you can call the angels and they will come and guide you and answer all of your questions. But you have to call them.
